Designing process include:
Brief
An initial meeting with the client on site enables us to get a sense of the place and the needs and desires of its users.
Survey
It forms the basis for all design work. We also undertake tree and photo surveys, and on larger projects, a detailed site analysis survey.
Sketch proposals
Based on the information gained from meeting with the client and from the survey and site analysis, we develop conceptual proposals for discussion and further development.
Detailed proposals
We prepare drawings in sufficient detail to build and plant the landscape. These drawings will form the basis for fixing a budget for the project.
Construction
We organize and inspect all work for which we prepare detailed proposals.
Management
Preparation of a handbook outlining the maintenance tasks to be carried out in the green area. We continue to give periodic advice for a number years after completion and we are often involved in the recruitment and selection of head gardeners.
